11 killed, 28 injured as bus falls into gorge

At-least 11 people were killed and 28 others injured in a road accident in the Kargil district in occupied Kashmir. The incident occurred when a bus coming to Kargil town from Zanskar went out of the driver's control and fell into a deep gorge at Panzilla pass, resulting in the killing of 11 passengers and injuring of 28 others, Kashmir Media Service reported.
Meanwhile, heavy snowfall during the night resulted in the closure of Srinagar-Leh highway. Almost five-inch snow had accumulated at Zojila pass on the highway, reports said.
