Another two people lost their lives due to dengue raising the total number of deaths in Punjab to 310 including 270 in Lahore due to this deadly virus. According to the report released by the Health Department Punjab, as many as 90 confirmed dengue patients have been reported in Punjab out of them, 54 patients reported in Lahore. The total number of dengue patients in Punjab has risen to 20,489 out of whom 17,060 belong to Lahore.
According to the report, about 493 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals in Punjab out of them 390 were under treatment in different hospitals of Lahore. As many as 193 dengue patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore during the last 24 hours which include 47 patients from Mayo Hospital, 14 from LGH, 26 from Services Hospital, 6 from Jinnah Hospital, 12 from Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, 76 from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, 6 from Said Mitha Hospital, 1 from Children Hospital, 1 from Nawaz Sharif Hospital Yakki Gate and 4 were patients discharged from Mian Munshi Hospital. According to the report so far 20,177 dengue patients have been cured and discharged from different hospitals in Punjab out of them, 17,004 patients cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore.
