President Asif Ali Zardari said on Friday that general election would be held in 2013. This was stated by him during a meeting of Pakistan Peoples Party's think tank chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari in Bilawal House Karachi. Different issues like political situation of the country, working relationship with MQM and other coalition parties, political developments in Punjab and other were discussed in the meeting.
President Zardari said that 2013 was the year of general election. He urged the PPP leaders to speed up the communication with public and develop a working relationship with coalition parties including Q-League. President Zardari directed the participants of the meeting to transfer policy of reconciliation to the grass root level and to avoid any type of political conflict.
