Pakistan Electric Power Co (PEPCO) is opening tenders for procurement of 10 million CLFs (Energy Savers) in the presence of print and electronic media here today (Friday). PEPCO Director Media and Public Relations retired colonel Rana Sajjad Ahmad Khan told Business Recorder here on Thursday that media has been invited at the opening ceremony to ensure transparency and ward off any controversy in the present purchase of 10 million CCLFs.
It may be added that the government's National CFL Project' aims at procurement of 30 million high-quality CFLs through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) under tranche I of Energy Efficiency Investment Programme which is funded by (Apple Desktop Bus) A low-speed serial bus for connecting keyboards, mice and other input devices on Apple IIgs and Macintosh computers.
