Another three people lost their lives due to dengue during the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 301 in Punjab and 263 in Lahore. According to a report released by the health department Punjab, as many as 176 fresh confirmed dengue cases were reported in Punjab including 64 patients in Lahore.
The total number of dengue patients in Punjab has reached 20,151, out of them 16,878 belong to Lahore. 762 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals in Punjab, out of them 611 are under treatment in different hospitals of Lahore.
As many as 222 dengue patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore during the last 24 hours which include 69 patients from Mayo Hospital, 22 from LGH, 22 from Services Hospital, 15 from Jinnah Hospital, 16 from Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, 57 from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, two from Children Hospital, and five patients from Saidmetha Hospital. According to the report, so far, 19,845 dengue patients have been cured and discharged from different hospitals in Punjab and out of them, 16,812 patients have cured and discharged.
