Advisory to mango growers

Punjab Agriculture Department has advised mango growers to start trimming of branches of mango trees besides carrying out spray to eliminate weeds in the gardens. It also asked the growers to continue grafting of plants and grow new plants. Examine the growing of buds on stems and ensure their timely cutting and irrigate gardens as and when needed, it added.
