Lack of transport impedes business on grain market

A few deals were observed on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the absence of proper availability of transport, dealers said. On the seed side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type continued falling, shedding another Rs 25 to Rs 925 due to lack of demand while the better quality retained its overnight level at Rs 1100, they said.
Only change witnessed on the rice sector was Irri-6 Sindh quoted at Rs 3000-3100, other items maintained the overnight levels in process of trading, they said. Rates almost unchanged on the cereal and grams sector, they said.
