China condoles death

China on Tuesday while expressing deep condolence on the sad demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, said that the former first lady of Pakistan had made significant contribution towards China, Pakistan relations. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu in a regularly press briefing here while responding to a question said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto was a senior and important statesman and former President of Pakistan People's Party.
Begum Bhutto, Jiang Yu further said, visited China many times as the first lady of Pakistan. She had profound friendship with the leaders of old generation in China and had made significant contribution to China, Pakistan relations, she observed.
