Scattered rain, dust storm predicted

The Met Office on Friday said a fresh western disturbance is affecting upper parts of the country, which is likely to remain for the next 2-3 days. Scattered rain with dust storm and thunderstorm is expected in upper Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir in the next 24 hours.
However, dry weather is likely to remain in most parts of the country, the forecaster says. It says in the next 24 hours, the country's upper parts are expected to receive more scattered rain with dust storm and thunderstorm. However, there is no severe weather warning during the period.
It says Turbat, Balochistan is the hottest part of the country with 39 degree centigrade and Astore is the coldest place with 3 degree centigrade during the last 24 hours. Karachi temperature is expected to reach 36 degree centigrade in the next 24 hours with dry weather conditions, the Met Office added.
