Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday claimed that conspiracy was being hatched to get the assemblies dissolved and go for early elections. In his telephonic address to MQM office bearers and workers from Lahore Zone, MQM chief vowed that his party would contest next election from across the country to foil the conspiracy, Aaj News reported.
He said that the day was not far when Punjab would witness a revolution that would transform the big houses of feudal lords and capitalists into schools. Hussain said everyone blamed MQM for the killings in Karachi. "When the message of the MQM started gaining wide acceptance in Punjab and other parts of the country, allegations of terrorism and treason are once again being levelled against the MQM."
He accused the son of Punjab chief minister of being involved in torture on Ayesha Ahad. He blamed the media for not raising Ayesha Ahad case. He claimed that a man in Sindh had committed blasphemy and ulema and judiciary should take action against him.
He also appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action against him according to Islamic and constitutional laws.
APP adds: He appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take a suo motu notice of the case of Ayesha Ahad. He said baseless allegations were being levelled against MQM for the incidents taken in Karachi.
