The Met Office on Monday said that another shallow westerly wave was prevailing over the western parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan, however, forecasted a dry weather in the country during the next 24 hours. Hot and dry weather is likely in Karachi in the next 24 hours with maximum temperature between 31 degree centigrade and 33 degree centigrade.
It says that except Gilgit-Baltistan and Northern Balochistan where isolated rain and thunderstorm is likely in the next 24 hours, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Isolated rain with thunderstorm hit Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan in the last 24 hours and the highest temperature was 39 degree centigrade in Noorpur Thal.
