ISE Index gains 81.27 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 81.27 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,592.95 to 2,674.22 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 194,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 157,000 shares. Total 133 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (92) closed in positive territory, 41 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of PTCL was 88,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 21,000 shares. The turnover of Fatima Fertiliser was 15,600 shares.
