Shaun Marsh century in Sydney Test

SYDNEY: Australia's Shaun Marsh brought up his second century of the Ashes series in the opening over of day four in the final Test against England in Sydney on Sunday.

Marsh, resuming on 98, hit spinner Moeen Ali for four through the covers off the fifth ball of the day.

He was embraced by his young brother and batting partner Mitchell upon reaching his sixth Test century in 268 minutes off 212 balls.

The fourth day began in searing temperatures, forecast to reach 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).
