PP-220 by polls: PML-Q, PPP to field joint candidate

Pakistan Muslim League-Q and Pakistan People's Party have decided to field a joint candidate in the by election of Punjab Assembly seat of PP-220 (Sahiwal). The decision was taken in a meeting between PML-Q leader, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and PPP Punjab President, Imtiaz Safder Warriach, here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the current political situation in the province and decided to field a unanimous candidate in the by-polls on PP-220. It may be noted that the PML-Q candidate had won elections from PP-220 in the last general elections.
