ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Thursday sought details of land and revenue record of the Murree hills in a case regarding illegal housing societies in Murree.
A division bench of the apex court headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan heard the suo moto notice case. The court directed the Punjab Revenue Department to submit complete record of land.
The court rejected the Punjab government's report terming it unsatisfactory. The court also sought working plan of area prepared in 1970s.
The bench also rejected the plea of Sky Commoners Housing Society to start work.
Hearing of the case was adjourned until January 24.
