Kamran knocks selectors' door after smashing double ton

Wicketkeeper cum batsman, Kamran Akmal, who is in sublime form in domestic circuit, yet again knocked selectors door after smashing double ton in list A match.

Akmal smashed 200 to help WAPDA chase huge total of 315 against HBL at Niazi Stadium, Hyderabad. He became only the third Pakistani to score a double-century in List-A cricket after Mohammad Ali and Khalid Latif.

With his match-winning knock, he took his team over the line in just the 46th over of the second inning.

The most senior of the Akmal brothers struck 27 fours and smoked 4 sixes in his blistering knock to reach the landmark in just 147 deliveries. He got out soon after scoring the double-ton on the 148th ball he faced.

Kamran Akmal has been knocking the doors of Pakistan national team with his consistent performances in the domestic circuit.

He was the highest run-getter in the National T20 Cup. Previously, he was the most prolific batsman of Pakistan Super League 2017 (PSL).
