LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday announced financial aid for the heirs of the persons died in the incident of District Headquarters Hospital Attock.
The Chief Minister announced to give Rs 2 million each to heirs of both the nurses who lost their lives in the incident, besides giving government job to sister or brother of the deceased nurses.
The financial aid of Rs 800,000 each would be given to the heirs of other died persons.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Chief Minister had expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the tragic incident occurred in the hospital.
He said that an inquiry committee had been set up to probe the matter and it had started its investigation. In the light of the investigation report, action would be initiated after identifying the persons responsible for this incident, he added.
