Politicians lash out at Trump for accusations against Pakistan

Politicians were not happy with the recent tweet of United States of America's President Donald Trump accusing Pakistan of taking an aid of more than 33 billion dollars and still remaining deceitful by giving aid to terrorists.
The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!

The politicians were quick to respond to his tweet and lashed out at him for his accusations.
The worlds mightiest military force has nothing to show but failure in Afghanistan after 16 years & incapable even of a graceful exit. In comparison Pakistan has carried out a highly successful anti terrorist operation. Stop trying to use Pakistan as an excuse for your failure https://t.co/0eKrYUuyeD

Bad tweet degrading all Pakistanis forgetting that we have suffered because of US policies in the region. We have sacrificed more people & soldiers than the US to fight terror being ignited by Jerusalem like decisions. Our economy has suffered more than $100 B in losses https://t.co/8a4Ije7AWq

Coalition support funds has NEVER been counted as AID in any accounting by Pakistan, nor will it be seen as part of assistance. It was compensation on expenses incurred re joint action on border. Other “Aid” we should indeed talk about, because Pk never charged for NATO traffic

The US just wants to ‘win’ in Afghanistan/Iraq/Syria & the many quagmires they are involved with. No plan to get out. All they are left with is excuses, blame games and denial.

Whereas, Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf leader Jahangir Khan Tareen lost no opportunity to blame the Sharif family for US treatment towards Pakistan.
Trumps tweet today reflects the complete bankruptcy and hollow leadership of Pakistan today. These lackeys of the Sharifs are responsible for the manner in which the US has treated us today. We are a proud Nation and will not take this treatment lying down

In an interview to a local media channel, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, in response to Trump's tweet said, “We have already told the US that we will not do more, so Trump’s no more does not hold any importance.”
Following Trump's tweet, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has summoned a meeting of the National Security Committee on Wednesday.
