In pursuance of the Board's notification, Sardar Aminullah Khan BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service has assumed the charge of Member Enforcement and Accounting, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad, wef August 6, 2011. In this connection, the FBR has issued a notification here on Saturday.
Sardar Aminullah had drafted the standard operating procedure on the withholding taxes and headed the Directorate General of Withholding Taxes FBR. The SOP drafted by him has facilitated the field formations to focus on key areas of withholding taxes for recovery of taxes. He also remained posted as Economic Minister at Embassy of Pakistan, China.
In the past, Sardar Aminullah has worked at key positions in the tax administration with ample experience of direct taxes particularly withholding taxes. As new FBR Member Enforcement and Accounting, tax authorities are confident that the new Member would facilitate the FBR in documentation of economy, broadening the tax-base, discovery of new taxpayers and improvement in compliance of direct taxes.
