Punjab Governor Latif Khan Khosa speaking in a function of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) said that if new province comprising of districts of South Punjab is not made, conditions similar to Karachi would develop. Distributing cheques in needy women on the occasion said Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) does not want to establish province on linguistic lines but rather on administrative basis.
He said provinces should be established keeping in view population and administrative aspect. He implored upon Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to cooperate with his party in naming the new province. Governor pointed that they by naming the new province wanted to do away with miseries and misfortunes of the area.
