PIA flight takes off after repair

A PIA Jumbo flight PK-745 took off after hours of repair from Karachi to Jeddah, a spokesperson of PIA said here on Saturday evening. The flight was diverted to Karachi from Sialkot on way to Jeddah earlier this afternoon for check up. According to a spokesperson of the Airline, the flight was diverted to Karachi for safety reasons and to check any possible engineering faults.
He said 368 passengers were onboard which landed at Jinnah International Airport at around 7 pm and after thorough investigation and removal of the fault in its landing gear it was given green signal to resume journey. "It was and will remain our utmost responsibility to take care of our passengers," said the spokesman.
