No power on earth can save Sharifs now: PAT chief

In a fiery speech during a press briefing on Saturday, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri said that Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will have to go to jail and no power on earth can save them now.
Addressing the press conference, Qadri said that the Model Town inquiry report and deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's 'why was I disqualified?' question will be the agenda of the All Parties Conference (APC) called by the PAT chief today over the Model Town incident inquiry report. He further said that the Sharif's were now asking help from foreign powers and are planning to flee Pakistan as their character had been disclosed in the Panama Papers.
Qadri thanked and welcomed all the political parties delegation who were present. Political parties, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, Pakistan Peoples Party and Pak Sarzameen Party, had assured him of their support regarding getting justice in the Model Town incident.

The PAT chief told the media that they will be briefed about the developments after the parties had discussed their future course of action in camera. The APC will be held today in Lahore at Minhajul Quran secretariat.
In 2014, the clash between police and protesters at Model Town took the lives of 14 while injuring 100. Justice Baqir Najfi’s commission inquiry report declared Shebhaz as a murderer and that Shehbaz had given orders to clear the protest no matter how many lives were taken. The report also mentioned that the police had tried to cover up the facts regarding who gave orders to open fire on protesters.
