South Korea's finance minister forecast on Saturday the country's gross national income (GNI) will reach $30,000 per capita by 2014 and $40,000 by 2018, Yonhap news agency reported. "Our country's gross national income may exceed $30,000 in the first quarter of 2014 and $40,000 in 2018," Finance Minister Bahk Jae-wan was quoted by Yonhap as telling a forum hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the country's southern resort island of Jeju.
