A petition against removal of PPP banners from the city has been filed before the Lahore High Court. People's Lawyers Forum (PLF) has filed the petition, saying the city government has removed banners installed welcome banners at the arrival of party leader Babar Awan.
The PLF says removing of banners is tantamount to violation of constitutional right to carry out political activities. The petitioner said DCO Lahore and SP Civil Lines are responsible for this illegal action and prayed to stop from doing so.
