Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has urged the army to support the judiciary in implementing its verdicts. He expressed these views while addressing a press conference here on Friday. He was of the view if the army desires to play a role in the interests of the country and nation, then it should ensure implementation of the court orders.
"Both the PPP and the PML-N have decided to take turns to rule the country, but the PTI would shatter this partnership with the support of the people," he added.
According to him, the PPP and PML-N have failed to resolve problems of the masses. Only an honest leadership could take the country out of the prevailing crises. The PTI would start a movement against the rulers from Faisalabad where it will organise a public meeting on Saturday (today). The event will prove a referendum against the rulers and consequently will lead to general elections. Only free and fair elections could bring a change in the country.
He warned that any attempt to rig the elections would give birth to bloody revolution in the country. The PTI will hold a public meeting in the city after Eidul Fitr.
Earlier, Imran Khan concluded the membership campaign in 25 markets of Lahore, which was participated by the PTI leaders and organisers of all these markets in the city.
