Tariq Iqbal Puri, Chief Executive of TDAP, after attending the 2nd Pak-China Business Forum in Kashgar, China, is now on official visit to Urumqi, China, and where he held successful meetings with Bureau of Commerce of Xinjinag Production and Construction Corporation and Department of Commerce, Uygur Autonomous Region, to further deepen the trade relations between the two friendly countries.
During his meeting with the Division Chief of Xinjinag Production Construction Corporation, Puri briefed them about the potential of natural resources especially gems and gemstones in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. He invited them to explore opportunities in this sector and set up production facilities or seek joint ventures with Pakistani companies to promote and develop the sector.
He also discussed Pakistan's participation in the upcoming First China-Eurasia Fair, to be held in Urumqi, China on September 1-5 2011 with He Yiming, Director General of Department of Commerce of Uygur. He also invited them to participate in 'Expo Pakistan 2011', to be held on October 20-23, 2011 in Karachi.
