Fire engulfed a private medicine company and the godown of an international welfare organisation, destroying stock of millions of rupees, here on Friday. The company is situated in Sector I-9/1 where fire broke out early in the morning, which spread to nearby godown. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam said medicine of millions of rupees destroyed but no casualty was reported in the incident. Authorities started investigation soon after the rescue work completed.
