China accuses Google of 'political games'

The Chinese Communist Party's main newspaper has lashed out at Google, saying its latest complaints of hacking traced to China are false and politically motivated. The People's Daily on Monday accused the Internet search service of "political games" and said the complaints of cyberattacks linked to China could hurt its business.
Google reported last week that hacking attacks against the email accounts of several hundred people, including US government officials, had been traced to an eastern Chinese city. The Chinese government has denied responsibility for the attacks.
