Federal Minister for Communication, Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil, termed that the Budget-2011-12 as more balanced and people-friendly, saying that in prevailing situation PPP-led coalition government is exploiting all available resources to address key issues confronted by the country.
Talking to Pakistan Peoples Party workers from different areas and politicians and right activists here on Monday, he said that the government is facing enormous challenges due to wrong policies of former rulers. Federal Minister said that the government is keenly focused to address all issues in its constitutional five years' period. He said that steps are being taken to generate indigenous resources in the country as well.
Dr Alamgir said that PPP-led coalition government faced all kind due financial constraints and several challenges, saying that none of political force would resist in the prevailing situation. We are very much optimistic and looking forward to overcome with all problems confronted by the country, he determined.
He said that the government's prime goal is to give a brighter and stable future to the nation, adding that the pace of progress and development in different departments and sectors has gained momentum with the passage of time. Similarly, he said, the communication department would complete its mega projects within stipulated period. On the occasion, the federal minister entertained complaints of political and right activists and assured them to immediate redress the problems.
