Islamabad Police have arrested seven persons from different areas of the Capital City for their alleged involvement in different crimes and recovered illegal arms, liquor and drugs from their possession, Spokesman of Islamabad Police Naeem Iqbal said here on Friday.
Koral Police during a routine patrolling stopped two persons namely Imran Maseeh and Ishaq Maseeh and on search police team recovered 330 gram charas from their possession. Bhara Kahu Police nabbed a bootlegger namely Khawaja Shafat Anwar for having eight bottles of liquor.
Tarnol Police recovered one pistol (30-bore), six bullets and two magazines from an accused Tasawur Jameel, who was nabbed during a routine patrolling. Sabzi Mandi Police during a routine checking nabbed three persons identified as Javed, Bakhtiar Khan and Barkat Ali from whom one pistol (30-bore), 310 gram charas and 80 gram heroin were recovered respectively. Cases have been registered against the detained outlaws in different police stations of the city and investigation is underway to get more information, the spokesman said.
