Prime Minister to inaugurate Southern Punjab projects

Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani will inaugurate Moosa Pak Shaheed Bridge on Sutlej River at Aimenwala, says a press release issued here on Friday. About 600m-long bridge project is completed at cost of Rs 1,616 million. 4.55 km-long approach roads are also built with the bridge.
The bridge will link up the whole region with National Highway Network and facilitate transportation of the agricultural produce of the region to the big markets. The project will open up new avenues of socio-economic development and generate employment opportunities. Moosa Pak Shaheed Bridge will reduce distance of 40km between Multan and Trinda Muhammad Panah.-PR
