The government has allocated Rs 986 million for Supreme Court of Pakistan in the federal budget 2011-2012 against outgoing fiscal year's revised estimate of Rs 823.4 million, showing an increase of 16.53 per cent.
The break-up of the allocation includes, employees related expenses Rs 797.77 million, Rs 170.98 for pay, Rs 137.16 million for pay of officers, Rs 33.81 million for pay of other staff, Rs 626.79 million for allowances, Rs 457.63 million for regular allowances, Rs 169.16 million for other allowances including transport allowance, Rs 138.58 million for operating expenses, Rs 33 million for physical assets, and an amount of Rs 14.70 millions has been set aside for repairs and maintenance.
A total of Rs 212.19 million has been allocated for Islamabad High Court, which was established during the outgoing fiscal year. The details for allocation are: Rs 185.4 million have been earmarked for employees related expenses, Rs 50.13 for pay, Rs 41.65 million for pay of officers, Rs 8.47 million for pay of other staff, Rs 35.27 million for allowances, Rs 130.72million for regular allowances, Rs 4.45 million for other allowances including transport allowance, Rs 20.53 million for operating expenses, 0.5 million for transfers, Rs 2.10 million for physical assets and an amount of Rs 3.65 million has been allocated for repairs and maintenance.
An amount of Rs 1389.75 million has been allocated for Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the budget 2011-2012 against the estimate of Rs 1218.71 million of the outgoing fiscal year, which depicts 12.30 per cent increase. The details for allocation are: Rs 418.88 million have been earmarked for employees related expenses, Rs 184.78 for pay, Rs 80.62 million for pay of officers, Rs 103.85 million for pay of other staff, Rs 234.39 million for allowances, Rs 220.83 million for regular allowances, Rs 13.56 million for other allowances including transport allowance, Rs 953.92 million for operating expenses, Rs 0.863 million for employees retirement benefits, Rs 1.10 million for grants subsidies and write off loans, Rs 0.37 million for transfers, Rs 3.38 million for physical assets and Rs 11.22 million has been allocated repairs and maintenance was.
