The University of Sindh has announced admissions to B.Ed, morning and evening regular programmes, under the faculty of education for Fall Session 2011, here on Thursday. Interested candidates having Bachelors degree in science, arts, commerce or education programmes with at-least 45 percent can apply for admissions to the programme.
Last date for submission of admission forms, along-with all required documents, has been fixed as July 15 while candidates will be allowed to deposit admission fees up-to July 30. Regular classes will commence from August 1 at the faculty of education of Old Campus of the varsity.
Regarding one-year (two-semester) B.Ed morning programme, SU will be charging rupees 8,425/- while for the evening programme, Rs 12,425/. The facility to deposit admission fee in two instalments is also available for the candidates. For any information or query, candidates can contact dean faculty of education or director admissions SU on any working day.
It is pertinent to mention here that the SU is the pioneer in offering degree programmes for teachers' education in the country. The department of education is the first teaching department, which was later upgraded to the level of a faculty.
