UNITED NATIONS: UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres Monday strongly condemned the suicide bomb and gun attack on a Methodist church in Quetta that left at least nine people dead and many others injured.
In a statement read out by his spokesman at the regular noon briefing, the secretary-general called for the perpetrators of the the deadly attack to be brought to justice.
"He (the UN chief) extends his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to those injured." the statement added.
