US stocks rose on Wednesday after US policy makers said discussion of the removal of monetary stimulus should not be seen as an indication it will happen soon, minutes of the Fed's April meeting showed. The Dow Jones industrial average climbed 87.75 points, or 0.70 percent, to 12,567.33. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 12.40 points, or 0.93 percent, to 1,341.38. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 33.83 points, or 1.21 percent, to 2,817.04.
