US MIDDAY: coffee bounces

Arabica coffee rebounded to close higher on Tuesday, bouncing up from Monday's six-week low and returning above the 100-day moving average. Raw sugar likewise finished firmer while US cocoa settled lower on pressure from both fundamentals and technicals. Volume was light in all three markets.
The key July raw sugar contract rose 0.16 cent to settle at 21.93 cents per lb. July arabica coffee futures climbed 2 cents to settle at $2.6610 per lb. Key July cocoa futures dropped $26 to finish at $2,980 per tonne.
