Chairman Parlia-mentary Committee on National Security Mian Raza Rabbani has said that joint session resolution has proved supremacy of the parliament. He was talking to a group of media persons here on Sunday afternoon.
"There is complete consensus on important national issues among the political parties in the best interest of the country by setting aside political differences," he maintained. Rabbani said that during the present regime the Parliament has proved that all state institutions were working under it and were answerable to it. "It is for the second time during the tenure of the present government that the top leadership of the Army and the ISI gave briefing to the members of the Parliament," he added.
"Now it is also the time that the US should listen to the voice of the Pakistani people and elected legislators," he said.
