Czech police detain Pakistani terror suspect

Czech police have detained a Pakistani national wanted on an international warrant for murder and terrorism, Czech Interior Minister Jan Kubice said on Sunday. The suspect was detained last week after applying for asylum in the central European country.
"The police... found out that there was an international arrest warrant for him issued by Pakistan for murder, terrorism and other criminal offences," Kubice said Czech Television. "Pakistan can request extradition, which it has not done at this time." Kubice did not give any other information about the suspect and said a court would decide about any possible extradition.
