Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Thursday has ordered judicial inquiry into the incident at Gujjar Khan and posting of the SP concerned as OSD. He was presiding over a meeting to review Gujjar Khan incident during the day. Provincial Minister Malik Nadeem Kamran, Advisor Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Member Provincial Assembly Shaukat Ali Bhatti and senior officers concerned were present.
The Chief Minister expressing his anguish over the incident said that staging protest for the solution of problems was the democratic right of the people and the administration should wisely manage protest demonstrations against loadshedding and advise the protestors to exercise patience and restraint and remain peaceful.
