Islamabad Police during its efforts to curb crime have nabbed seven outlaws from various parts of the federal capital and recovered 6.640 kg charas and three pistols (30-bore) from their possession, said a spokesman of Capital Police here on Thursday.
Tarnol Police during its crackdown against the drug pushers have succeeded in arresting three alleged drug pushers namely Khan Syed, Muhammad Arshad and Yusuf Khan and on search 6.400 kg charas and one pistol (30-bore) were recovered from the detainees, the spokesman said.
Shalimar Police during its routine patrolling stopped two persons Shamrez and Ehsan and on search two pistols (30-bore) were recovered from them. Secretariat Police arrested a drug pusher Ramazan for having 240 grams charas, while Kohsar Police arrested Pitras Maseeh for creating disturbance on road after being drunk.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. The SSP Islamabad has directed all police officials to ensure effective patrolling and high vigilance in their respective areas.
