Efforts are underway to make Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO-Pakistan) a trade and commerce friendly organisation by promoting genuine business entrepreneurs and providing a congenial atmosphere for local and foreign investment, said Hameedullah Jan Afridi Chairman IPO-Pakistan here on Thursday.
IPO-Pakistan will fulfil its responsibilities by giving legal protection to all registered businesses under IPO laws, Afridi said while talking to representatives of business community who called on him at IPO Headquarter. Afridi said that trade, commerce and industry is vital for the improvement of the overall industrial development of the country. In the wake of success stories of the developed countries it is imperative for Pakistan to boost economic activities by promulgation of effective laws and their strict implementation, he added.
He asked the business community to join hands with IPO-Pakistan for making efforts to flourish legal business practices and expand employment opportunities in Pakistan. He said a number of steps were being taken to provide maximum facilities to all those who wants to register their creations necessary steps were being taken in consultation with experts and representatives of business community.
