The Lahore High Court here on Monday disposed of a petition for recovery of an alleged missing person Hafiz Ahsanullah as the CIA Police informed that the accused was wanted in several cases of heinous crime. On the last hearing SP CIA Umar Virk had failed to tell the whereabouts of the of the person and hence the court had directed Lahore Capital City Police Officer to look into the matter personally and ensure his recovery by next date hearing.
On Monday appearing SP CIA informed the court that more than 15 cases were registered against Hafiz Ahsanullah, husband of petitioner Shumaila, of Shahdara and Factory Area Police. He said he was in custody of Factory Area Police. At that the court disposed of the petition and directed the police to act in accordance with the law against the accused.
