The profit after tax of Al Ghazi Tractors has increased to Rs 621.419 million in the quarter ended March 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 476.597 million earned in the corresponding quarter in 2010. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Wednesday declared that the company's earning per share has increased to Rs 14.47 in the period under review against Rs 11.10 in the same period a year back.
According to the financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange, the company's sales increased to Rs 4.623 billion in this quarter against Rs 4.022 billion in the same quarter last year while cost of goods sold increased to Rs 3.728 billion against Rs 3.202 billion. The company's profit before taxation increased to Rs 927.810 million in this quarter against Rs 777.280 million in the same quarter last year.
