A Convocation Ceremony was held at Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur. Barrister Syed Masood Kausar, Chancellor University of Peshawar, Governor Khyber Pakhtun Khwa and Lieutenant General Muhammad Asghar, Rector National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) were the Chief Guests at the occasions respectively.
In category of Convocation Ceremony of General Duty (Pilot) Course, Barrister Syed Masood Kausar, Governor Khyber Pakhtun Khwa, congratulated the graduating officers and awarded degrees in the discipline of Bachelor of Science.
Pilot Officer Sharista Baig was awarded the trophy for securing first position in humanities subjects. Pilot Officer Muhammad Zeshan Anjum won the trophy for best performance in Aero-Sciences subjects. Pilot Officer Zeshan Mehmood received the trophy for overall best performance in academics. Aviation Cadet Khalid-ur-Rehman received the trophy for overall best performance in academics in A&SD course, while Aviation Cadet Muhammad Fahad received the trophy for overall best performance in academics in AD course. Lieutenant General Muhammad Asghar, Rector NUST, awarded merit certificates and medals to the distinction holders.
Merit certificate for the Best Aerospace Vehicle Design was awarded to Pilot Officer Amir Abdullah, while merit certificate for the Best Avionics System Design was awarded to Pilot Officer Kamran Zia. Rector's Gold Medal for the Best Project in Aerospace Engineering was awarded to the joint project of Pilot Officer Muhammad Muneeb Safdar. Rector's Gold Medal for the Best Project in Avionics Engineering was awarded to Pilot Officer Soaib Imran Abbasi and President's Gold Medals for standing first in Aerospace and Avionics Disciplines were awarded to NUST Pilot Officer Muhammad Adnan Khan and Pilot Officer Salman Akhtar respectively.-PR
