Swiss franc eases versus euro

The Swiss franc eased from a one-month peak against the euro on Tuesday, with traders taking profits following hawkish comments by a European Central Bank policymaker. The European Central Bank needs to remain "very alert" on inflation dangers to avoid falling behind the curve, policymaker Nout Wellink was quoted as saying. The franc was little moved against the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.2756 per euro. The franc was flat against the dollar at 0.8965 per dollar.
