Pakistan Muslim League-N (PLM-N) leader Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad has said that there were no personal grievances between Khawaja Asif and him but the only antagonism was due to Khawaja Asif rough attitude with party workers of PML-N in NA-110 which was damaging the party adversely.
Addressing a big corner meeting at Mohallah Bijlee last night he said that Khawaja Asif should apologise with thousand workers, voters and supporters of constituency through advertisement in national dailies otherwise he must be ready to face the furious reaction of the people of Sialkot.
He alleged that Khawaja Asif was victimising the masses, adding that Khawaja Asif is considering a leader but unfortunately he was not even a public figure. The leadership or public figure needed support of the masses but Khawaja Asif had lost the support of party workers which he was not realising and popularity graph was decreasing sharply, he added.
Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif are the only leaders and patron of Pakistan Muslim League-N but Khawaja Asif is victim of self-portrayal before the masses and trapping them by saying that party will give him ticket again in forthcoming general elections he added. Malik Nasir Mahmood Advocate demanded ouster of Khawaja Muhammad Asif from PML-N which was supported and approved by a large number of people gathered at a corner meeting. Former Deputy Mayor Aurangzeb Mirza, Shazia Elahi Sethi, Fahim Nawaz, Sheikh Abid were also present on the occasion.
