One hundred and eighty students will go to the United States this year on scholarship basis under the Youth Exchange and Study Programme. The US Embassy organised a pre-departure orientation for these students here on Sunday.
Addressing the ceremony, Cultural Attaché of the US embassy Brent Beemer said that the programme offers a unique opportunity to Pakistani students to study in US schools, live with the American families and become part of their local communities.
