Nine killed in Iraq violence

Attacks around Iraq left nine people dead on Sunday, including six members of a family killed by a suicide bomber north of Baghdad, security sources said. The suicide attack targeted Taleb al-Obeidi, leader of an anti-al Qaeda militia in the Sunni Bouslabi area near Duluya, 90 kilometres (56 miles) north of the Iraqi capital, killing six family members.
The bomber detonated his explosives-laden belt while the family was in the garden of their home, killing the militia leader himself, two of his wives and three of his children, the source said.
