Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Company has set the target to export 140,000 metric tonne mangoes during the current year whereas its export is expected to exceed by 225,000 metric tonne.
Sources said that with the co-operation of US Aid and Agribusiness Support Fund the mango orchard owners are being trained for the grading and packing of exportable mangoes due to which the export is expected to increase at record rate.
