Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws and four suspects from various parts of the federal capital and seized illegal arms. Police have recovered two rifles (12-bore), four pistols (30-bore), 145 gram heroin, 600 gram charas, six bottles of liquor from the 12 detained outlaws while four suspects were also arrested during search operation in Tarnol, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Thursday.
The spokesman said that Tarnol Police launched a crackdown against the suspects and arrested four persons who have failed to prove their identity and documents. Secretariat Police nabbed one person namely Faisal during routine patrolling and on search one 30 bore pistol and two rounds were recovered from his possession. Secretariat Police have held an accused Usman after 210 gram charas and heroin seized.
Nilore Police held two accused namely Nawazish Mehmood and Akhtar Iqbal during a routine patrolling and seized one rifle (12-bore) and three bottles of liquor form them. Koral Police stopped a person Siddiq-ur-Rehman during routine checking and on search one Repeater Gun and two bullets were recovered from him. Tarnol Police during a routine patrolling arrested an accused Sikandar and recovered one pistol (30-bore) and five bullets from his possession.
Industrial Area Police arrested an accused namely Muhammad Bilal after it recovered one pistol (30-bore) and three bullets from his possession. Golra Police arrested a drug pusher namely Muhammad Irfan and seized 130 gram heroin. Kohsar Police during routine patrolling arrested a drug pusher identified as Ghulam Aksar and seized 200 gram charas.
Aabpara Police arrested two persons Sarfaraz Ashraf and Aijaz Akhtar who were allegedly involved in bootlegging and theft and seized three bottles of liqueur and stolen commodities. Margalla Police arrested one accused namely Shahzad allegedly involved in theft and seized stolen commodities including cell-phones.
